This information is used solely to maintain and improve our Site. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. Service providers:

We use third-party services to operate our business, including Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft 365, Microsoft Bookings, and Microsoft Forms) for scheduling and communications, Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) as a reference laboratory for certain tests requiring outside processing, Google LLC (Google Analytics) for anonymous website usage analytics, and RingCentral, Inc. as our telecommunications and text messaging provider, which processes messages solely on our behalf. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.

Healthcare operations:

As a clinical laboratory we may share your health information with ordering physicians, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers as necessary to provide laboratory services and process payment.

Legal requirements:

We may disclose your information when required by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities including courts and government agencies.

Business transfers:

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

SMS consent is not shared with third parties:

No mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data are shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as required to deliver the messages through our telecommunications provider.

Patient scheduling and health information is processed through Microsoft 365, which is covered under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in compliance with HIPAA. Advance Medical Lab is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The use and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI) is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available at advancemedicallab.com/hipaa. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and our Notice of Privacy Practices regarding PHI, the Notice of Privacy Practices shall control.
